Job Summary

The Director of Talent Acquisition will serve as a key strategic partner to the company's leadership team, developing and implementing strategies to attract and hire a diverse staff of exceptional people. The Director will lead and inspire a team of regional talent acquisition leaders and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to enable business growth and support a high-performing, inclusive organizational culture. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

•Design, develop and execute the talent acquisition strategy. Partner with stakeholders to organize and scale the recruiting function to meet the company's high-growth staffing goals and enable a high-performing, inclusive culture.
•Lead, develop and manage a team of regional talent acquisition leaders to place high quality external and internal candidates at scale.
•Infuse diversity, equity, and inclusion into every aspect of our people operations, such as attracting candidates from diverse talent pools, eliminating biases in our recruiting/hiring processes, and building relationships with diversity-focused organizations.
•Analyze market relevance and competitiveness of current talent acquisition programs and continually strive to improve recruitment strategies, maximize the value of our recruiting tools and enhance the candidate experience.
•Create, teach, and foster diversity and inclusion best practices in all aspects of selection, assessment, and placement.
•Participate in and host recruitment events and initiatives to drive awareness of our company.
•Cultivate memorable candidate connections with the brand that bolster value prop and talent attraction strategies.
•Evaluate, select, and manage vendors; assess and measure effectiveness by tracking production metrics against talent acquisition goals & budget and ensure compliance with negotiated agreements.
•Act as an advisor to executive level stakeholders on market trends, recruiting metrics, operational processes, systems and tools. Define, track, and regularly communicate relevant KPIs to the senior leadership team.
•Utilize analytical thinking to diagnose business challenges and identify hiring and retention trends.

Leadership Responsibilities and Reporting

The Director of Talent Acquisition reports to the Sr. Director of Talent and provides support to the Human Resources and Operations Teams and provides support and training to the Regional Talent Directors.


•BS or BA degree, preferably with an emphasis in HR or Business.
•8 years’ progressive talent acquisition experiences supporting growth stage businesses, preferably within a national restaurant/hospitality/retail organization.
•Demonstrated success designing, building, and executing a talent acquisition strategy for organizations during periods of high growth (building models that can scale).
•Deep knowledge of recruiting practices, principles and methods, including interviewing and assessment skills.
•Prior experience and proficiency in ATS and CRM implementation, utilization and in-depth sourcing to source passive talent.
•High business acumen with the ability to translate business objectives into talent attraction and retention priorities.
•Talent advisor behaviors/competencies, supported by a solid understanding of the business, external / internal labor market, competitive landscape, and data analytics.
•Business partner mindset with the experience and confidence necessary to work with senior executives, HR leaders, and employees at all levels to deliver results.
•Vendor management experience (e.g. RFP process, budget and project management, etc.)
