Job Summary

The HRIS Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of employee data in the HRIS systems and support the growing HRIS function. This role partners with the HR team and Operations leaders to ensure that changes are processed in the system in a timely manner throughout the employee’s life cycle. The HRIS Specialist will also be responsible for handling day-to-day system and process administration, troubleshooting issues, providing end-user support, initiating compliance-related action items, performing data uploads, handling routine reporting needs and assisting with Human Resource projects and processes.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions in this job description are not all-inclusive of this position’s duties and responsibilities. Regular and reliable attendance is required. This role reports out of the Corporate office in Sarasota, Florida.

•Accurately process all employee changes in the HRIS system such as new hires, transfers, status changes, terminations, etc. in a timely manner.
•Support the Operations & Talent Acquisition teams by posting (and closing) hourly restaurant openings on company job boards.
•Maintain data integrity in the HRIS system throughout the life cycle of employees.
•Ensure appropriate approvals have been obtained on employee change forms prior to processing employee information/changes in the HRIS system.
•Accurately maintain reporting relationships in the HRIS system to support HR processes and initiatives.
•Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements. Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
•Provides basic technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to all HRIS end users.
•Troubleshoot and submit tickets for any HRIS related technical issues and serve as a liaison to the HRIS vendor.
•Serves as liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS projects; support the execution of system changes and participate in all aspects of system testing.
•Perform HR related mass data changes and uploads as needed.
•Responsible for generating various reports and correcting errors in the HRIS system as needed.
•Identify opportunities for automation, validation and self-service to improve efficiency and data integrity.
•Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HRIS functions and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
•Produce and set up reports for HR compliance, audits, ad-hoc/custom requests and alerts for HR and business leadership needs.
•Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation to train staff members, managers, and new system users on HRIS.
•Manage and participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.



Requirements:
Qualifications

•Associate degree in business or related field.
•2 years of experience in an HRIS or related HR support role with a national, multi-unit organization.
•Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office product skills.
•Demonstrated knowledge of HR functional operations and HR information systems, principles, and practices.
•Knowledge and demonstrated skill in data and database management methods and practices.
•Ability to handle confidential information and be sensitive to personal situations.
