Job Description

I. Job Summary

The Digital Content Platform Manager will strategize, develop, and implement our efforts to reach new audiences and optimize existing audiences to include how we proactively attract top restaurant talent. The individual in this role will have a data-driven approach to the way they partner with the full Marketing Team, and HR Talent Team, bringing brand campaigns and activations to life in a way that strengthens the First Watch reputation. This role will focus on activities of scale, with the intent of driving awareness, trial, and increased visits to our restaurants, as well as working with our HR Talent Team to execute an innovative Recruitment Marketing strategy that aligns with our YOU FIRST mission.

II. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage performance marketing strategy to develop media plans and content recommendations that work to fuel campaigns, seasonal menus, talent acquisition, and broad company goals
  • Develop and oversee content platform strategies and tactics, including paid acquisition, organic social channels, SEO, and organic business channels
  • Work with our content team to leverage organic content to drive brand awareness, trial, and repeat visits
  • Work with our HR Talent Team to own channel strategies with the intent of proactively attracting top restaurant talent, inclusive of new and traditional social media channels as well as business channels (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.) 
  • Lead media agency in strategy & planning, buying, execution and optimization of all paid media budgets
  • Manage paid media budget
  • Create and manage landing pages, further optimizing campaign performance and decrease time to trial 
  • Collect and analyze results, hypothesize and execute tests to continuously improve campaign efficacy
  • Work closely with external agencies and in-house graphic designer to create and iterate on creative assets
  • Work in partnership with Data Analyst to leverage consumer insights, competitive information, and analytics to optimize campaigns and spend in real-time 
  • Build and manage reports to surface learnings on a regular basis
  • Contribute to the development of consistent analytics and attribution models

III. Leadership Responsibilities and Reporting

The Digital Content Platform Manager reports to the Director of Marketing, with KPIs directly tied to HR. This role provides support to the Marketing and HR teams.

I. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Marketing or Business preferred 
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in related field
  • Experience directly managing ads within Facebook Ads Manager
  • Experience directly managing organic social and business channels 
  • Experience working with Google Ads, Display ads, other social media platforms
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Excel
  • Restaurant or hospitality industry experience is heavily preferred
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations is preferred 
  • Experience directing and optimizing creative strategies for paid tactics and channels

III. Additional Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to continuously see, view computer monitors, give & receive oral communication 
  • Must be able to occasionally sit, drive, type and lift up to 25lbs
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and drive to and from work locations when requested/required
  • Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule that could include nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by the needs of the business
