Job Description

I. The Company

II. Job Summary

The Director of Partnership Marketing role will strategize, develop, and implement all local, regional, and corporate sponsorships. The individual in this role will partner with the full marketing and operations teams to optimize existing relationships and build new partnerships to strengthen the First Watch brand. This role will focus elevating marketing plans, executing sponsorships and building relationships while driving traffic and trial.

III. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategize, develop, and implement custom marketing strategies that deliver against business needs, as well as building brand, loyalty, and trial
  • Oversee the direction, coordination, implementation, and execution of regional and national sponsorships, as well as marketing support for local sponsorships
  • Manage all corporate sponsorships including negotiation of new and existing contracts
  • Work in partnership with Data Analyst to leverage consumer insights, competitive information, and analytics to optimize sponsorship opportunities and marketing spend
  • Seek new opportunities and provide recommendations based on business growth strategies
  • Build strategic relationships as well as partner with key internal teams to drive cross-functional business initiatives
  • Serve as direct liaison for partnership agreements and initiatives, including marketing, hospitality, media, signage, and experiential opportunities
  • Act as a First Watch brand representative at high-level corporate sponsorship events
  • Develop and implement scalable local marketing tactics and special projects that drive traffic
  • Provide recommendations, added-value options, activation ideas, up-sell opportunities, and insight on partnership renewal strategies
  • Communicate and collaborate with marketing team members and cross-functional teams to execute sponsorship agreements

    IV. Leadership Responsibilities and Reporting

    The Director of Partnership Marketing reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and provides support to the Marketing and Operations teams.

    V. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or Business preferred
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in related field
  • Restaurant or hospitality industry experience is heavily preferred
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations is preferred
  • History of contract negotiation, partnership fulfillment and relationship management

    VII. Additional Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to continuously see, view computer monitors, give & receive oral communication
  • Must be able to occasionally sit, drive, type and lift up to 10 lbs
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and drive to and from work locations when requested/required
  • Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule that could include nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by the needs of the business
