First Watch is the fastest growing Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch concept in the country with over 400 units. 

Franchised by locally owned Capstone Concepts, LLC

8 franchised locations in Tennessee and one under construction in Asheville, North Carolina. The Asheville location will be opening in the Spring of 2022 at the Biltmore Village.

Essential Duties: 

  • Develop and maintain a culture of accountability, integrity, service and trust where team members understand their roles and customers are priority. 
  • Develop a management team for future growth. Always be conscious and aware of talent and opportunities to “grow your employees.”
  • Set standards so all units achieve a 95% or better health and Steritech inspection. 
  • Ensure all policies and procedures, whether HR, Safety, Financial or Operational in nature are being upheld in the unit daily. 
  • Provide hands on leadership when working in units. Work positions and provide feedback. 
  • Call units daily to coach managers regarding sales, labor, social media, and daily plans. 
  • Hold bi-weekly manager meeting to set and enforce standards. 
  • Check weekly schedules to ensure they are written correctly and posted on time. 
  • Follow up on food cost issues in order to maintain budget.
  • Spot check period food inventories. 
  • Perform period Unit Evaluations.
  • Be accessible to all unit management teams. 
  • Handle all complaints in a manner that aligns with our culture of service. 
  • Work with marketing on initiative rollouts and event preparation. 
  • Participate in bi-weekly First Watch corporate calls. 
  • Communicate clearly with unit managers, office administration, and COO.
  • Ensure units are staffed with qualified team members at all levels. 
  • Ensure hiring policies and practices are followed. 
  • Perform second interview on all cooks and servers. Make recommendations for new hires. 
  • Develop Black Hats and Black Apron team members. 
  • Develop a management team for future growth. 
  • Hold training classes at units. 
  • Hold product training classes at individual units. 
  • Participate in unit staff meetings. 
  • Ensure all team members follow Capstone Concepts’ uniform standard. 
  • Make sure all reporting protocols are met, and security procedures are upheld in regards to the hiring and termination of employees. 
  • Follow up and verify all cash deposits are made daily. Verify safe balances every quarter. 
  • Sign off on all invoices submitted to the office for payment. 
  • Check weekly paperwork to ensure accuracy of invoices, safe balances, tip reports, DSR, labor reports and anything else required by the office before it is turned in. 
  • Hold managers accountable for hitting their budget guidelines. 
  • Ensure all team members are executing LSM and capturing any offerings or coupons properly. 
  • Participate in writing yearly budgets with COO, Controller and management team. 
  • Follow up on food cost issues and implement plans to be under gap by .6%. 
  • Spot check period food inventories. 
  • Review P&Ls with team each period.


Essential Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to walk and stand throughout the entire shift of approximately 10 hours. 
  • Ability to continuously reach, bend, stoop, wipe, and carry objects. 
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds. 
  • Cognitive abilities to reason, solve problems, and manage conflicting priorities.


  • 5 Years management in a full-service restaurant 
  • 3 Years at a GM level with a FirstWatch 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products 
  • Organized 
  • Hands-on leadership style 
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance 
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Time management skills and ability to multitask 
  • Ability to make good decisions and find alternative solutions
